EAN Sydney Annual Congress & Expo - 29 March 2010

EAN / Quay Restaurant Function - 24 March 2010
We know that our function at Quay Restaurant scheduled for the 22nd April has been one of the most highly anticipated events of the year so we wanted to let you know that the invitation for this event will be distributed to all members on Monday 29th March 2010. This event will be free to attend for all Members and $25 plus GST for all Associate Members. Numbers are limited to 135 so please note that as we expect this to be an exceptionally highly oversubscribed event, payment for this event for Associate Members will only be available online via credit card.

EAN Annual Exhibition 2010 Update - 24 March 2010
The EAN Expo 2010 kicks off tomorrow at Luna Park. With a record number of exhibitors and record attendance for the congress running alongside the exhibition, we expect this to be a fantastic two day event. The event is open on both Thursday and Friday in the Crystal Palace Ballroom so we hope to see you there.

Sydney Annual Congress Registrations Update - 28 February 2010
Our Early Bird period for registration for the 2010 Sydney Annual Congress has now expired. We already have over 100 senior EAs and PAs registered to attend plus many more Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants who have sought an extension to the Early Bird period whilst they get internal approval for their attendance. We can only comfortably accommodate another 45 – 50 attendees on top of this group so if you want to attend please ensure you get your registration in soon.

January function registrations now open - 18 December 2009
Our Christmas function on Tuesday evening was a massive success, but never ones to rest on our laurels, we already have a great function planned at The Establishment in January which is now open for registrations within the Networking Events section of the website. Featuring Möet in the Establishment Ballroom, this is one not to be missed. To kick off the New Year in true EAN style, this fabulous event will be open free of charge to all EAN members.

Please note use of these surveys, even by members, is controlled by Copyright Restrictions. Annual EAN Congress Sydney 25th & 26th March - 21 October 2009
Dates have been finalised for our 2010 Annual Congress in Sydney which will again be held at Luna Park. This event has for the past four years cemented its reputation as the number one educational conference for senior EAs and PAs in Australia. So you don't want to miss out. EAN Survey 2 - Personal & Executive Assistants Survey - 07 September 2009
Today we launched the Second of our vital industry surveys aimed at our gaining a better understanding of the role of EAs and PAs in Australia. 482 EAs or PAs took part in our first survey giving EAN an insight into the amount of Functions, Events and Travel you are responsible for organising within your companies. This Second Survey focuses on the other roles and responsibilities of EAs in the workplace, focus on job satisfaction, scope, remit and the relationship between assistant and executive. This Second survey is totally anonymous.

EAN Surveys Update - 31 August 2009
So far over 435 EAs and PAs have taken our first survey on Events, Functions & Travel and with numbers still climbing we have decided to delay the launch of our second survey for one week. The results to date from this survey have been exceptionally pleasing and beyond our greatest expectations so we are now going to push to get upwards of 450 people to take the survey. If you haven’t yet taken the survey we would be extremely grateful if you could find time to do so.

Two Vital Industry Surveys - Understanding the complex role of the EA & PA - 14 August 2009
EAN plans to embark on two extremely vital and comprehensive confidential surveys that will seek to understand the full extent of the role of the Executive Assistant and Personal Assistant.

Over the past four years we have heard extensive commentary on how the role has changed and is continuing to change. We want to put some statistical analysis around our understanding and will need your help to do so.

EAN goes to the movies - 15 June 2009
Over 280 EAN members are set to become some of the first people in the country to see ‘The Proposal’ tomorrow evening. EAN Mentor Training Course - 12 June 2009
Last night our 2009 Program Mentors were treated to a sensational training program, “Successful Mentoring”, that lasted in excess of 3 hours, provided them with the tools to be great coaches, trainers and counsellors and sent them off with a resource pack filled with one hundred pages of analytical tools, plans, guides and other resources they can use with their mentees.
